Rick has spent 30+ years in the technology field. During this time, he was the owner of Turske Technologies LLC. for 25 years and also worked for several Fortune 500 companies in I.T. such as F.E. Myers/Pentair, Merillat Cabinetry and Abbott Labs/Hospira

What was your first job?

As a child, Rick worked a paper route for his first job. After serving 11 years in the US Military, Rick worked at F.E. Meyer Company

What's something you're proud of achieving/accomplishing while here at BCU?

Rick is most proud of leading the new office's electronic setup which included the phone system, network infrastructure, video security and more

What's the best advice you've received/heard?

"When shaking a person's hand, always stand, look the person in the eye and use a firm grip. This shows that you respect them."

What advice would you give your younger-self?

"Get right with God and get it together"

Loyalty to customers, quality work and community involvement

What's something you think everyone should try once?

Own your own business. Once you have owned one, you will understand what it takes for a business to succeed and your outlook on small businesses will change.

What might people not know about you?

Rick is a self-proclaimed "open book," but feels that most people would be surprised to know that he has 6 children whose ages range from 20-40
