Before joining the team here at BCU, Ashley gained extensive work experience in a wide-range of jobs. She has previously worked in the nursing field for 10 years, as a secretary for a prison, as well as for Charles River Labs.

What was your first job?

In-home nursing assistant for Companions of Ashland.

What's something you're proud of achieving/accomplishing while here at BCU?

Since Ashley is the newest addition to our team, she is still learning and achieving goals as she grows into her role. So far, she is the most proud of learning how the phone system in our company works, which is a feat in itself!

What's the best advice you've received/heard?

"Always be kind you never know what battles someone is going through, just a smile could change someone’s whole day."

What advice would you give your younger-self?

"Don’t care what other people think, just be you."

Family and community oriented, professional and passionate

What's something you think everyone should try once?

Hike the trail to Clingmans Dome in Tennessee, to see the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina and to hear how unbelievably quiet it is up that high! It is 6,643 ft. above sea level.

What might people not know about you?

Ashley loves reptiles; she has two lizards and two snakes!
